Yoga Stress Management and Relaxation

Stress can effect us in many ways, and as unique as each one of us is, so are the techniques that we use to find a sense of calm and peace.
Maggie draws from her extensive background in Yoga, JourneyDance, and relaxation instruction to guide those that she works with, toward places that feel more calm and centered. Maggie combines techniques, such as muscle relaxation, yoga, breathing teachniques, guided imagery, and de-stressing exercises, to help identify and release what is getting in the way, while shifting body and mind toward a new, calmer and centered way of being.
Meditation and Stress Reduction

Marci Zieff is a meditation expert with experience helping children, teens and adults to reduce stress and anxiety. Marci has been facilitating private and group meditation classes since she founded Create Calm in 2007 . Her company provides meditation and relaxation training using a variety of techniques including guided meditation, visualization, self healing methods, gentle stretching and breath work. She writes her own innovative guided meditations providing a unique experience for each individual.
Marci developed a very successful "moving meditation" program working with children, teens and children with special needs including those on the autism spectrum. She incorporates breath work, stretching, guided meditation, walking and dance meditation into the program helping kids to calm and strengthen their bodies and minds.
Marci began her meditation practice over 10 years ago. She has studied with various meditation masters, learning guided meditation, insight meditation, visualization and Native American healing techniques. She has also received training at the Kripalu Institute in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
She has received a BA from the School of Education at University of Massachusetts in Amherst Ma. She earned her second degree Black Belt from Giorgio's Tae Kwon-Do and has taught Tae kwon-Do for the past 8 years.
