In a Svaroopa® yoga class, you experience a supportive and therapeutic setting for your yoga practice. You will receive individualized assistance with your pose alignments and hands-on adjustments which create a deeper release of tension. Each class is designed to release tensions in the deep muscles along the spine. With enough release, your body will realign from the inside outward. This release extends through the other levels of your being, offering you the direct experience of deep relaxation, healing and transformation.

Svaroopa Yoga is a unique and transformational style of Hatha Yoga renowned for resolving chronic back pain, and for the cultivation of a quiet mind and peaceful spirit.

By meeting your body exactly where it's at, with supportive props and alignments, long held spinal tension starting at the tail bone, releases, and a new found freedom of movement and living arises.

Svaroopa Yoga focuses on each student's individual needs. This is a hands on class that will help you learn to live in a pain free body and to know how to take care of yourself at the deepest levels.




Svaroopa® Yoga

Andrea will guide you through supported poses and gentle breathing techniques designed to dissolve the deepest tensions in your body, quiet your mind and center awareness. Feel your tensions unravel and your stress melt away.

Students at any level of fitness can accomplish Svaroopa® yoga's poses without over-stretching or discomfort. While the practice is gentle, it is effective and profound, and provides benefits to beginning as well as experienced students.

Deeper Svaroopa® Yoga Class

The Deeper Svaroopa® Yoga class is for Svaroopa® yoga students with an established home practice and who are ready to take their practice to a new level. This level of class will include deeper poses, alignments and adjustments. Ancient yogic teachings are interwoven throughout the class.

These classes are 1 hour and 45 minutes long. Class attendance is only with Annette's permission.

Svaroopa® Yoga Continuing Class

This 1 hour and 30 minute class is appropriate for students of all levels.

The Svaroopa® yoga Continuing class focuses on releasing the tensions in the deep muscles along the spine. The class explores 12 different themes including lower spinal release, backbends, neck and shoulders, and standing. You will receive individualized assistance with your pose alignments and hands on adjustments which create a deeper release of tension.

Steve has a calm, compassionate, and gentle teaching style that is a perfect match for anyone looking for a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating Yoga experience. He especially enjoys introducing new students to Svaroopa® with its restorative and healing qualities. With Steve's intuitive teaching style, he is able to tailor his classes to focus on his students' individual needs for that particular session. Students with ailments such as lower back pain, tight hamstrings, sciatica, or tension in the neck and shoulders, can expect to experience significant relief from Steve's classes. His classes are great for people of any age or ability who are looking for an easy, gentle and relaxing Yoga practice that will give significant and noticeable results.




Svaroopa® Yoga Basics Class

This 1 hour and 30 minute class is appropriate to students of all levels but will be especially beneficial to those new to Svaroopa® yoga.

The Svaroopa® yoga Basics class focuses on releasing the tensions in the muscles of the lower spine. In this class students will learn the foundational Svaroopa® yoga poses and then deepen their knowledge with pose variations and teacher adjustments.
