After a devasting loss of her own in 2021, she decided to take a 12-week Grief Educator Certification course given by David Kessler. David is one of the world's foremost experts on grief and loss and this course helped her with her own journey and with grief and all the other things that come along with that. Carol wanted to learn how to help others and share what she learned after experiencing her own profound losses over the last couple of years.
Carol Lanzillo is a professionally certified ballroom dance instructor and has been teaching, performing, and competing for over 20 years. She has taught, performed, and competed both on a professional and pro-amateur level. She has appeared on stage at the DCU center for the live tour of DWTS. She brings a wealth of experience and joy to her teaching. Carol dances socially as often as she can and competes in the Ballroom & West Coast Swing arena.
Carol has also taught classes for local adult recreation programs, colleges and involved with weekly dance exercise programs at retirement and assisted living facilities. Carol has a passion to help others and enjoys being able to make a difference in people's lives.
Carol is extremely passionate about dancing and teaching others to learn; she sees and knows first-hand the impact it has on people's lives.
