Announcing An Evening of Concert & Conversation on Learning from the Stages of Life with Singer-Songwriter Ron Israel and Spoken-Word Artist Cheryl Perreault

"Holy Crap- I'm Mortal!" - Aging & Life Passages Reviewed Through Story and Song

Ron Israel is a singer-songwriter whose work reflects the times in which we live. His music blends insightful lyrics with memorable melodies and grounding rhythms. Ron's work has been praised by the legendary CBS producer John Hammond Sr., who discovered Dylan, Billie Holiday and many others, and also by the artists Ritchie Havens, Barry McGuire, Peter Coyote, and Susan Stamberg of NPR Radio. Ron has recorded 10 albums, each focused on a different aspect of the human experience. His CD---Homeless in America----rose to # 15 in the national folk music charts in 2017. Learn more at

Cheryl Perreault is a spoken word artist who performs original poetry and stories. She has recorded two cds with guitarist Steve Rapson and co-edited an anthology of community poetry "Hopkinton Through Poetry." Cheryl has a background in psychology and has taught college courses on life-span psychology in the Boston area. She has worked as a hospice volunteer where she has written patients stories for life-review. Cheryl also hosts and co-produces "Wake up & Smell the Poetry" and for HCAM TV and facilitates true storytelling and roundtable programs at Roots and Wings Yoga and Healing Arts Studio and Body n Beyond.
