Come join me (Kerry Donovan) for an Open House from 1pm-3pm, where I will be showcasing home-made crafts from Guatemala, where I have lived for many years and have many friends in the community. I will be sharing stories and have many items available for purchase, including jade jewelry, angel candle holders, colorful ipad and laptop covers, wallets, and various sized handbags/ travel bags all made from a combination of recycled clothing and leather. Prices range from $20- $200 for large leather travel bags.
Also I will be sharing free samples of cacao and coffee from Guatemala and cacao and coca tea from Peru. If you like the cacao there will be two different sizes/types for sale ranging from $18-$25 per bag.
Get a jump on your holiday shopping while supporting a women-owned business in Guatemala (all proceeds go to Zoila Escobar who procured all the items- she is a single mother working hard to break the cycle of poverty for her daughter).
