Tsering Ngodup Yodsampa was born in Tibet and lived in exile in Nepal and India where he was educated to preserve the ancient Tibetan culture and how to adapt it to the new world. Since 1983 he has been living in the West teaching Buddhism, guiding meditation practices and translating for Tibetan Buddhist masters and scholars from all traditions of Tibetan schools of Buddhism. Tsering received teachings and transmissions of spiritual tradition mainly from the Karma Kagyu tradition and its linage holder late Kunzig Shamarpa recognized and endorsed him as Lama (spiritual teacher) and advised and blessed him to teach and share his knowledge and experiences. He is the founder of Bodhi Tree Institute for Dharma Study and Practice and the Buddhist staff Chaplain at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

A Gathering for Meditation and a Dharma Talk

In these virtual gatherings, Lama Tsering Yodsampa, leads us in meditation and provides a Dharma talk on subjects of Tibetan Buddhist practice. We start where we find ourselves in these mindfulness studies and are presented ways to discover our true potential and inner strength to manifest genuine compassion, peace and happiness. These teachings have been passed down from many generations of Tibetan Buddhist masters and are a great source of inspiration and guidance for all those who have been fortunate to encounter this treasure. Lama Tsering has devoted over twenty years to sharing the spiritual teachings of Buddhism in the West and is authorized to teach by H. H. Shamar Rinpoche. All are welcome to attend and practice together.

When: The 3rd Thursday of each month (or TBA) at 7:00pm- 8:30pm EST

Where: A virtual gathering on Zoom
