If you are looking for a gentle movement based exercise program that will increase your mobility, flexibility, strength and range of motion, while decreasing stress, tension and chronic pain, you have found it here!

The mission of every ESSENTRICS® workout is to create a balanced body, whereby the strength in your muscles doesn't inhibit your movement and your mobility is enhanced by your strength. ESSENTRICS® strengthens and stretches every muscle in the body eccentrically, rebalancing the muscular structure in continuous rotational movements. It incorporates various movement techniques while systematically working every muscle and joint in the body. The basis of the workout is a dynamic combination of strength and flexibility exercises, designed to pull apart the joints by elongating the muscles and challenging them in the lengthened position.

This full-body technique works through the muscle chains, liberating and empowering the muscles, relieving them from tension in the process. While the technique is original in itself, it has been influenced by several disciplines. ESSENTRICS® draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which enhance body awareness and balance, the strengthening theories of ballet which create long, lean, flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy which create a pain free body.

ESSENTRICS® views the human body as one interdependent unit, working each part and system in harmony. All systems are like members of a team whose job it is to keep you healthy and feeling well. The function of every single part of your body matters to your overall health, starting with your cells. Maintaining the health of each cell is essential to our longevity and vitality. Nourishing and cleansing our cells can only be accomplished through movement. Movement activates the cells-signaling them to stay alive and healthy. Without nourishment, our cells atrophy, shrink and eventually die. Knowing that all movement in our body is initiated by our muscles is why muscles are referred to as the guardians of our youth. Each Essentrics workout aims to stimulate all 650 muscles for maximum results. Using safe, three-dimensional, full-body movements, Essentrics engages the entire living matrix of connective tissue throughout the body.
