How? She teaches them how to cultivate mindful awareness, compassion-based leadership skills, and mind-body practices.
During her twenty-five years in healthcare financial management and raising a family, and was a family, and (to keep her sanity) she meditated sporadically. As the kids grew, the intensity of adolesence created a new level of stress, and she firmly embraced regular mindfulness practice. The impact was PROFOUND; while situations may not have changed, the ease with which she moved through them did.
Through regular practice she was inspired to earn a M.A. in Mindfulness Studies at Lesley University. Also she obtained certification as an Evidence-Based Qigong (EBQ) Instructor (Center for Taiji & Qigong Studies), and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Therapist (RYT200).
