Abuse in a marriage does not end with divorce.

When you leave, the pathological tactics that were used to confuse, demean and shame you in the relationship evolve into targeted patterns of entitlement, power and control over children, possessions and assets that are intended to break and discredit you. A parent who is self-centered and manipulative seeks to win, not negotiate. They don't co-parent, they counter-parent.

I help protective parents of coercive control and post-separation abuse become courtroom-ready. I can help you prepare strategically and emotionally no matter where you are in the process, from contemplating leaving to co-parenting after divorce.

As a coach, I am solution-oriented in my approach and work in support of your legal strategy and therapeutic process as set by your attorney and therapist. My role is to guide you through your divorce, custody and co-parenting journey through the lens of post-separation abuse.

My approach is rooted in this belief: although you are being victimized, you are not a victim. Through sound strategy, practical tools and reframing, I can help you feel prepared and capable of navigating the journey ahead. Our work together can help you:

&bul; Identify and substantiate patterns of behavior
&bul; Comb through emails and messages to identify strength and relevancy
&bul; Organize your documentation, timelines and evidence
&bul; Apply my proprietary SIFT model to communicating with your high-conflict ex
&bul; Know what, how and when to respond in co-parenting messages
&bul; Ground yourself for four-way meetings, hearings and trial
&bul; Prepare for GAL evaluations and parenting coordinator meetings
&bul; Set realistic expectations about family court and support you through setbacks
&bul; Better communicate with your attorney and advocate for yourself and children
&bul; Attend your hearings for personal advocacy and support

I offer small group workshops at Roots & Wings as well as virtual, one-on-one coaching. To learn more about me and my coaching packages, or to register for services and workshops, visit:
