Kat has been practicing the art of massage and bodywork since 2017. She received a certification that year in Thai Yoga Massage. In 2022 she graduated from The Massage School in Boston, MA. She believes in the power of touch. Massage is a profound experience and can help nourish the body, mind, and spirit connection, letting the nervous system relax and finding ease within the body.

Kat's focus is on listening to the client's desires for pain management and stress relief, while creating a safe and nurturing environment. She loves intuitively incorporating a mix of modalities including Swedish, hot stone, Thai bodywork, stretching, deep tissue, and energy work. Her goal is to blend these modalities to deliver a therapeutic healing session.

YOGA

The balance of yoga is a harmonious dance between challenge and ease that can engage the body and clear the mind. Kat's yoga journey began in 2005 when she started attending classes. It was under the guidance of Maggie Sky that she would pursue teaching in 2015, attending her first 200-hour training with Daniel Orlansky. Since then she has taken and assisted three more 200-hour trainings and created her own teacher training, a fusion of hula hooping and vinyasa. Her passion for exploring consciousness, personal strength, nature, harmonics, and sound immersion, as well as her attention to the present awareness (with a touch of humor) guides her as she adapts each session to the class's needs. Specializing in vinyasa, restorative, gentle, yoga nidra, functional fitness, and sound immersion, as well as, being a massage therapist, Kat brings a touch of many varying elements to all aspects of her classes and workshops.

Embodying a balance of compassion, strength, and deep internal awareness, her teachings expand beyond the mat, and she hopes her students let the essence of yoga expand into the fabric of their everyday lives.
