Deb Elbaum is a certified professional career and life coach, author, and speaker. She is known for helping her clients get clear about their choices, build their confidence, trust their decisions, and create intentional change. She works with job seekers, people in career transition, women returning to work after a career break, and people wanting to improve their confidence and communication skills for networking and interviewing.

Deb coaches clients individually, teaches classes, and leads workshops. She has been an invited speaker at organizations around greater Boston, including Impact Hub Boston, Boston Women Connect, and BIG (Believe, Inspire, Grow). She is the author of the chapter "Making Moments Count" in Coaching for Powerful Change (2016), edited by Diane Hayden.

What sets Deb apart as a coach is her holistic background. In addition to her coaching certification, she is trained in Reiki levels I and II, and has some training in Eden Energy Medicine. Before becoming a coach, she graduated from medical school and built a career as a medical writer. Her coaching focuses not only on the practical steps to taking action, it works on a bigger level to help clients get clear about who they are in the world.

Deb's coaching certifications are from Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the International Coach Federation (ICF). Her medical degree is from the University of Pennsylvania, and her undergraduate degree is from Harvard University.

Outside of coaching, Deb is a volunteer leader and teacher for a disability-awareness curriculum at her child's school. She is also an officer and enthusiastic member of her local Toastmasters International club. She and her husband live outside of Boston and have three children.
