Dedicated and steeped in various body work methods and spiritual mentorship, Mare has been firmly rooted in the healing arts for most of her adult life. As a massage therapist, cranial sacral therapist, and Kinesis Myofascial Integration therapist her depth and knowledge of the structure of the human body continually informs her teaching as a yoga instructor.
A great love of sacred music, poetry and mysticism is an integral part of Mare's life and you may find any variety of these elements in her yoga classes. Her original training was completed in Baja Mexico at the Yandara Yoga Institute. She then continued her yoga training with Tias Little, Ana Forrest, and Sri Louise. She has studied the art of the Yoga of Sound through mantra with Shubalananda and Namadeva.
