Malu is a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. During her years as a fitness instructor she was introduced to her first Kripalu yoga class in 1996. Through the years her personal Yoga journey has included the practices of Vinyassa Flow and Baron Baptiste yet, she returns to Kripalu Yoga for its compassionate approach to the body and its practice of self-observation. Malu's approach to yoga is heart centered, creating a comfortable, playful and supportive environment where students feel free to test their limits and explore movement.
When she's not practicing yoga you can find her in her home studio creating unique handmade jewelry or dancing with her friends at Jazzercise.
