In these classes, children and teens center and calm themselves, while having fun with flowing yoga poses, stories, breathing exercises and a relaxation time.

Hooping for Kids

In this class, children can learn this nostalgic exercise craze. Hooping conditions your core, works on proper body alignment, boosts flexibility and stability, and lowers stress with an exhilarating aerobic total body weight loss workout. No prior hooping experience is required - wear exercise clothes and bring a water bottle. Hoops are provided and are available for purchase. The instructor is a personal trainer, and her infectious passion for health and fun gives this 1960's pastime a thrilling face lift!

Canta y Baila Conmigo:
Music & Movement for Children

(ages 1-5, accompanied by an adult)

A fun and educational singing, dancing, and children's music group that is for all levels of Spanish learners.

This class is designed to support both Spanish language development and music competence through the use of children's songs and traditional music from Spain and Latin America. It is ideal for bilingual families and caregivers seeking an authentic setting in which to interact in Spanish with their own children as well as with a broader Spanish-speaking community. This class provides you and your child with a fun, safe and supportive environment in which to experience the Spanish language as well as Hispanic musical traditions. Participants will receive a songbook and CD created especially for each session.

Class is conducted entirely in Spanish for a full immersion experience. However, this class is not limited to fluent speakers of Spanish. Beginners and intermediate speakers wishing to learn along with their children will find a fun, safe and supportive environment in which to experience the Spanish language as well as Hispanic musical traditions.

This class is 45 minutes long and runs for 9 weeks per session. Participants receive a songbook and professionally recorded CD created especially for each semester.
