Our Tai Chi class begins and ends with a short centering meditation. We incorporate some QiGong movements before we begin the Tai Chi form to bring attention on our energy. The beginner's class teaches the 1st section of the long form (Yang style). There is no experience necessary to take the beginner class and often those who have taken Tai Chi before come to learn the form we teach, which is the original Yang Style form before it was standardized in the early 1900's.

Ed's teachings always encompass the body, mind and spirit so that we become whole and balanced and harmonize our full being. Often, toward the end of class, Ed will teach some of the life lessons and principles that are inherent in Tai Chi practice, such as letting go, acceptance, mindfulness, harmony and attachment.
